This is a traditional Lakshmi Pendant with `nakkasi' or `nakshi' work (a form of gilt and repousse technique unique to south Indian temple jewellery).In this ornate pendant the image of the Goddess sitting on a lotus is reproduced in rare detail in three dimensional repousse.
